Client details54 words
Client name / initials: Michael lynch
Client level: Beginner
Session number: 1
Date: 2026-07-03
Session duration: 55 mins
Equipment needed: Reformer, long box
Session goals: Client is total beginner so wants to concentrate on core and building a stronger back as suffers lower back and plays slot if golf
Health screening notes: Lower back
WARM-UP (5–10 minutes)22 words
Modifications & adaptations for warm-up: I modified single leg bridge to normal bridge due to client being unsteady in single bridge position..
MAIN WORK (30–40 minutes)49 words
Exercise selection & sequencing rationale: Kept exercises consistent as client was total beginner and didn’t want to be changing exercises too much.. also had them using long box for some exercises due to lower back issues..a lot if the exercises were geared toward building strength in lower back area
Client feedback & session notes45 words
Client feedback: Client mentioned that he felt a small bit of back pain near the end of session so next session I will use the box more for certain exercises but he did feel reformer would be hugely beneficial to strengthen his back and core
Instructor reflection24 words
Reflection: Must get long box and short box exercises more into my session.. and maybe use other equipment like a ball and Pilate rings
Next session planning31 words
Next session focus: Will def do more box exercises and introduce legs in strap exercises for my next session with michael.. Progressions then I would add heavier springs to some exercises
