Client feedback & session notes78 words
Client feedback: The client really enjoyed the 1:1 class and her confidence on the reformer grew immensely. She said her favourite part was the feet in straps sequence as it encouraged her to 'stretch deeper in to the hips in a way I usually wouldn't'. She found the draw a sword move challenging and said it was 'tricky to engage those upper back muscles'. Over all she thought the class was great and would like to do more.
Instructor reflection86 words
Reflection: I think the flow worked well and the exercises transitioned smoothly into one another. The exercises also catered well for the clients injury and her knees weren't under any pressure during this flow. I think the client has a natural fitness from rowing and running and would like a higher tempo class the next time. I learned that it is important to take breaks when running a flow in the c curve position as this can be sore to maintain for longer periods of time.
Next session planning41 words
Next session focus: I think I would progress by adding in more exercises, that don't put the knees under more pressure and I would introduce the rowing positions to strengthen the mid back before working more on the rotator cuffs again.
